I read the latest Foxtrot comic strip, and couldn’t help giving a few pointers:
- ‘Nuff said.
- Macromedia has a short and sweet explanation for using <strong> and <em> instead of <b> and <i> respectively: While the latter tags are not yet deprecated, they only achieve a visual effect. The former tags make more sense to screen readers which will read the text out more loudly. A W3C workshop on accessibility says:
the use of EM and STRONG elements is superior in the sense that they describe the content without committing it to a specific format.
- Jason isn’t always polite, but he should try to mind his </p>s and </q>s.

Yes I saw it in the papers too, but had to wait until the latest strip appeared on Foxtrot.com, American time. 🙂
