The Business Blog is something I set up as I embark on my new plans to enter business school and rejoin the private sector. It aims to cover global business and management issues with a balanced perspective.

About me

Vanessa Tan is a law graduate, new media consultant and business student. She has worked for a large corporation, a startup and two Government agencies. She hopes that having equal amounts of work experience in the private and public sectors will lend a balanced perspective on the nature of business, which is also influenced by society and Government.

She believes she can write about the nature of global business, because she is from INSEAD, the Business School for the World.

She has been to over 150 cities in the world, speaks 2.5 languages (English, Mandarin and some French) and currently resides in a central part of Singapore.
