What’s been happening on the INSEAD front, on my side?
Nothing much, especially since I was having morning sickness the past 2 months and have been avoiding events that would tempt me with alcohol (which probably includes every social INSEAD event). In fact, I have been avoiding all large group gatherings because of my pregnancy.
But it’s not just me. The rest of my class is going through a baby boom too. I logged into Facebook just now and saw updates from two different classmates, holding their newborn babies. Many more have been born before this, since we graduated in the summer of 2009, and it does not look likely to stop…
While things have been quiet for me on the ‘party’ front, I still receive the occasional email from prospective INSEAD candidates, asking for tips. I also had a more philosophical email dialogue with another MBA student who decided to apply elsewhere, on the value of an MBA in general.
In other news I was also glad to have met up with INSEAD blogger supreme, Stefanos, last month. Time really flies - the first time we met was also at a coffee shop; I was the incoming student and he was the veteran. Now we are both alumni.
