Blog revamp coming up!

After largely ignoring my blogs for much of the past few years, I realised that my web server was upgraded to the point that my outdated blog software doesn’t run properly on it anymore.
After using Movable Type for so many years, and bearing with the complexities of upgrading to newer versions, I have decided to switch to WordPress, which is easy to install, upgrade and enhance. I’m in the process of backing up all my old data from various blogs.
The only thing with WordPress is that you need separate databases for each blog, compared to Movable Type which allows the creation of multiple blogs in one (increasingly huge) database. So in order to restore all my old blogs, I will have to install WordPress separately for each blog. A little troublesome but it should be worth it in the longer term.
So stay tuned… the best is yet to be!
