I was inside the office lift when 2 colleagues from another department walked in. (This happens to be a department that I praise a lot, because of their efficiency, promptness and cheerful attitudes)
I must have done something right, because one of them came forward and hugged me!
Pleasantly surprised, I asked, “What was that for?”
She said, “I just felt like hugging you.”
Awwww!
I looked at the other colleague. She said, “I also feel like hugging you… I don’t know why!”
Double awwww.
That probably inspired me, later that day, to hug someone else in my team, whom I felt had been doing a consistently good job.
Later on, I told my mum about the earlier hugging incident in the lift. She said she also feels the same way!!!
